DNA is selectively adsorbed on a silica gel-based EZ-10 column and removed by washing. The DNA is then eluted from the column and can be used for any subsequent application. The purification method used in these protocols does not require the use of phenol, chloroform or CsCl. DNA is purified without an additional ethanol precipitation step.
