The PANAMAX™ blood DNA extraction kit is used for the automated purification of nucleic acids from human whole blood genomic DNA. It uses a well-established technology of silica dioxide-coated magnetic beads for the purification of genomic DNA from small volumes or sample sizes. The procedure comprises 4 steps (lysing, binding, washing and eluting) and is carried out using the selective binding properties of a silica dioxide coated magnetic bead.
