The PANAMAX ™ FFPE DNA extraction kit is used for the automated purification of genomic DNA nucleic acids from a FFPE human tissue sample. It uses a well-established technology of silica dioxide-coated magnetic beads for the purification of genomic DNA from small volumes or sample sizes. The procedure consists of 6 steps (kerosene removal, lysis, heat, binding, washing and elution) and is carried out using the selective binding properties of a silica dioxide coated magnetic bead.
