The mixture contains all the components for PCR except for the template and primers. This not only saves valuable time in the laboratory, but also reduces the number of pipetting and reagent handling errors. PCR Master Dye Mix is supplied as a ready-to-use 5X concentrated mix, which is a mixture of recombinant Taq DNA polymerase, reaction buffer, MgCl2, dNTPs, enzyme stabilizer and PCR-grade loading dye solution containing tracking dye (bromophenol blue) that enables efficient PCR template amplification and allows the user to prepare a master mix of PCR reagent loading dye conveniently.
