The ExcelRT™ One-Step RT-qPCR Kit (TaqMan, not ROX), consisting of One-Step RT Enzyme Mix and 2X One-Step qPCR Master Mix, is a convenient kit designed for highly efficient and highly specific real-time PCR cDNA synthesis in a single tube. The one-step RT enzyme mixture contains a thermostable ExcelRT ™ reverse transcriptase and a RNAok ™ RNAase inhibitor. Consequently, One-Step RT Enzyme Mix can perform RNA to cDNA reverse transcription over a wide temperature range between 42 to 60°C and active against RNAase A, RNAase B and RNAase C. Containing Taq HotStart that greatly reduces primer dimer formation and can be activated within 2 minutes, the One-Step 2X qPCR Master Mix features high specificity and is suitable for rapid cycling programs.
