Interferon gamma (IFN-γ) can be detected in plasma samples or cell culture supernatants after stimulation. Gamma interferon is predominantly produced by TH1 cells as part of the adaptive response after contact with a specific antigen. The cattletype IFN-gamma detection kit has been designed for the identification of the inflammatory marker. It includes two monoclonal antibodies against IFN-γ, as well as IFN-γ, which serves as a positive control The results are then obtained by standardization of the values with the positive control. This ensures reproducibility between different runs and batches of product.
