Inter-Laboratory Exercises
Aware of the need for participation in interlaboratory comparison programs, as well as compliance with the requirements of the Colombian Technical Standard NTC ISO/IEC 17025:2017, the Molecular Biology Laboratory GENTECH Biosciences, participates in interlaboratory tests in the framework of molecular biology methods comparison programs.
Participation in interlaboratory comparison programs is one of the tools of high relevance in the processes of maintenance and quality assurance of test results, as well as compliance in one of the requirements established in the Colombian Technical Standard NTC ISO/IEC 17025:2017, aimed at the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, which are in the implementation or accreditation phase.
Participation in proficiency testing serves as an impartial check of the quality of the laboratories, based on the results of these tests, the performance of the analysis and conditions for the improvement of the method are evaluated. These exercises also allow for internal evaluation and feedback for procedures and routines in our laboratory, with a view to generating high quality and high fidelity services.

Design and assembly of laboratories
