This kit features high efficiency for high purity DNA extraction from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues. Thanks to its high-performance deparaffinization solution and lysis buffers, the kit can efficiently release DNA from FFPE samples. DNA binds tightly to its spin matrix, while proteins and other impurities are removed by the wash buffer. Nucleic acids are easily eluted with sterile water or elution buffer. After sample lysis, most formaldehyde modifications are removed and the purified DNA is ready for use in downstream applications such as real-time PCR/PCR, SNP, STR, among others.
